My hair routine is fairly simple. I normally wear two-strand twists because my hair is like a slinky which causes massive shrinkage and terrible tangles. I wash and re-twist my hair every 2 weeks.
1. Pre-Shampoo

Pre-poo loose twists
Before I wash my hair, I dampen my hair with a mixture of water and aloe vera juice. I then add a conditioner mixture which consists of Herbal Essence Honey I'm Strong conditioner, water, aloe vera juice, and extra virgin olive oil. I cover my hair with a shower cap and leave the mixture in anywhere from 1 hour to overnight. I detangle each twist to remove any shed hair and knots. I mostly finger-detangle my hair. Finger detangling is when you use your fingers to detangle your hair instead of a comb. I have found that combs tend to break my hair, so I rarely use them. If I do use a comb, I still finger-detangle first. After I detangle each twist, I re-twist it loosely to get ready for a wash. The pre-wash helps to loosen any dirt or build up in my hair.
2. My Wash Routine

I wash my hair every two weeks. I alternate between washing with Creme of Nature Argan Oil shampoo and Kiss Co-Wash. I wash my hair in four sections. I only add shampoo or co-wash to my roots and I massage my scalp with my fingertips. I rinse out the shampoo or co-wash, then I deep condition with the Kiss Argan and Macadamia Deep Conditioning Masque. I cover my hair with a plastic cap and sit under the dryer for about 30 minutes.
3. My Twisting Routine

Fresh Twists
Right after I wash my hair, I re-twist it. I coat each twist with the Kiss Leave-In, Creme of Nature Honey Leave-In, and the Creme of Nature Twisting Cream. After I finish twisting, I coat each twist with Jamaican Black Castor Oil. Finally, I let my hair air dry.
